I had this powerful idea about a suicide told from two perspectives. I'm not trying to romanticize suicide or depression here; exactly the opposite. This is more about the impact that it has on loved ones. Enjoy!

Inside my chest
There is a room
A holy place
Where I am home
And through the door,
The world outside
Comes rushing in
And I can't hide

The sun is dawning
The angels calling
My time is running out
My Mom is screaming
She can't stop the bleeding
My time is run out

And from outside
The sound of hooves
My angel's come
To set me loose
On wings I'll rise
To see the view
Heaven provides
For losers stuck in their room

Inside my chest
There is a wound
Someone I loved
Is gone too soon
So drink the wine
One final prayer
Then you'll go home
